As Social Media Manager your work will help shape our narratives around our projects in sustainable futures, healthcare transformation, and systems change. You’ll create compelling content that turns complex challenges into simple and powerful stories, and you’ll manage our social media presence, work with our expert team to develop thought leadership content, and support business development through strategic storytelling.
You’ll work in a collaborative environment on projects that create real impact in sectors that people care about like health, climate action, education, infrastructure, and arts and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- – Create engaging content across multiple platforms that translates complex project work into clear, impactful stories showing the breadth and depth of our work, and of our team’s expertise.
- – Co-manage the content calendar, forward planning of content, and scheduling/posting.
- – Think creatively about content. Alongside the wider creative team, you’ll ideate and execute content ideas for social media and the blog that will resonate with our audiences.
- – Work with the wider team to develop thought leadership pieces on sustainability, healthcare innovation and infrastructure transformation.
- – Co-manage our social media presence, building meaningful connections with stakeholders and communities.
- – Collaborate with project teams to capture and communicate project impacts and learnings to create case studies and content that demonstrate our approach and outcomes.
- – Own event planning and production for a small number of in-house events per year.
- – Ad-hoc contributions to client work relevant to your experience, where needed.
About you
- – You love writing. You can inhabit a brand’s voice and bring it to life effortlessly.
- – You’re deeply familiar with all of the major social networks, and some of the newer ones, and enjoy using them to build a brand community.
- – You’re used to using scheduling tools like Later, planning tools like Notion, and design tools like Canva.
- – You’re extremely detail orientated. You have the project management skills to juggle the changing requirements of a busy content schedule while being able to bring our stories to life in a creative and engaging way.
- – We are not looking for a specific level of experience, you can be a recent graduate, or someone returning to work after a career break, or anything in between – mostly we want someone who genuinely enjoys community building online, and is keen to do work that makes a difference.

Hours: 3 days per week (22.5 hours), 9-month FTC
Reporting to: Communications Director
Salary: Competitive – commensurate with experience
