About M-CO

At M-CO, we’re building the infrastructure of change.

That means working on the projects that shape how people live: how they access healthcare, how they move through their cities, how their communities respond to a changing climate. It means bringing together the right people, the right thinking, and the right process to turn complex challenges into real, lasting progress.

We’re a strategic design and project management consultancy based in Dublin and a certified B Corp, with over 25 years of experience delivering projects that matter. Our multidisciplinary team works across healthcare, climate action, energy, infrastructure, and culture, always with people at the centre.

If you’re motivated by work that makes a difference, you’ll find your people here.

About the role

M-CO is seeking an experienced project and programme management professional to join our growing Change and Programme Management team and help deliver some of Ireland’s most significant infrastructure and transformation programmes.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in consulting, infrastructure delivery, programme management, architecture, or a related discipline who is ready to take on a Senior Project Manager role within a growing consultancy.

You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects, providing strategic advice, programme management, and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams. The role combines project and programme management, problem-solving, client engagement, and a strong focus on delivery.

We are looking for someone who is motivated by complex challenges, enjoys working collaboratively, and can bring structure, insight and professionalism to ambitious programmes of work.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, an effective relationship builder, and someone who thrives in dynamic environments where no two projects are the same.

This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, leadership development and progression within M-CO as we continue to expand our work across Ireland’s most important transformation and infrastructure programmes.

We care about the people we work with as much as the work itself. We make time for each other, we’re honest about what’s working and what isn’t, and we celebrate the wins, big and small.

What you’ll do

  • Supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure, transformation and change programmes.
  • Managing key workstreams, milestones, risks and stakeholder relationships to help ensure successful programme outcomes.
  • Working closely with clients, project teams and senior decision-makers to provide strategic and practical programme support.
  • Developing high-quality reports, briefings, business cases and programme documentation.
  • Contributing to programme governance, assurance and continuous improvement activities.
  • Analysing information and evidence to support decision-making and client recommendations.
  • Helping identify opportunities for innovation, improvement and best practice across projects.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management, programme management, consulting, infrastructure delivery, architecture, or a related field.Applications from candidates with more extensive experience are also welcome.
  • Experience of programme governance, risk management, reporting, and assurance processes, with a strong understanding of how effective governance and controls support the successful delivery of infrastructure, transformation, or capital programmes.
  • Experience working within complex projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills and experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence interacting with clients, senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • The ability to analyse information, develop clear recommendations and support effective decision-making.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working in a team, with the ability to work independently when required.
  • A desire to contribute to projects that deliver tangible public impact.

Don’t tick every box? Please apply anyway. We’re more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect match on paper.
