M-CO worked with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), BiOrbic Bioeconomy Research Centre and the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation (IBF) to design and facilitate the first ‘Bioeconomy Ireland Day’ in 2018. The event brought together over 260 participants from industry, government and research to promote and make connections across Ireland’s growing bioeconomy. This included a workshop designed and facilitated by M-CO where participants were invited to explore together the opportunities and barriers for Ireland’s bioeconomy industry, and to feed into the design of the newly established Irish Bioeconomy Public-Private Network.
M-CO also developed a visual identity for the bioeconomy network which was applied across a range of promotional and informational collateral. The M-CO Visual Communications Team have continued to work with DAFM on the application of Bioeconomy Ireland’s visual identity to website, event and communications collateral, including the First Progress Report of the Bioeconomy Implementation Group in 2019 and Bioeconomy Week in 2020.
